Heather Keating is a graduate of the Maryland
Institute College of Art where she majored in Photography
and Graphic Design. Her father, a professional wedding
photographer, introduced her to the craft at a very early
age. Her love of photography has continued to grow ever
since.
She
began her professional career photographing local bands
as well as children and family portraiture. Later
she went to work for Sachs Photography as an assistant
and Production Manager, eventually becoming a second
photographer with the studio. This enabled her to work
directly with Joe and Anne Sachs to learn the studio’s
style in-depth.
Now
as a primary photographer her style is fresh, relaxed,
and unobtrusive, with an eye for
beautiful, but unexpected
images.
